Profile Project Progress
Recently now my team and I are working on a Words of Wisdom project where we interview someone older than us that can share some words of wisdom. We are interviewing Mr. Relacion a 7th grade English teacher at Kapaa Middle School. We filmed during school for the interview, b-roll, and voiceovers. We are doing this project because we wanted to show everyone what it takes to be an awesome teacher like Mr. Relacion.
We filmed b-roll for our project to visually show what Mr. Relacion does. B-roll is used to hide the narration or interview cuts and to visually show or explain what the person being interviewed is talking about. Also B-roll is a way of easily showing what their talking about so the audience can relate to the story better. Also for our project we had one person narrate the story so we had to film and record voiceovers. Voice overs introduce the person and tell part of the story in the beginning, middle, and end.
I think our team could of worked better by splitting up the work more evenly and also taking turns doing each job. Keegan Kessler Kuumomi Thompson are my partners for this project and over all I think we work pretty good together. Telling by the critique above I think we should work more on the visuals of the story the most and try make the audio, story, and quality a little better.
Our team can improve from good to great by filming more B-roll and making sure it in focus so its clear. Also we could film better voice overs because the voice overs I did weren't clear enough. In the end I believe our team will have a really great story to share and project.

Composition Techniques
The main four composition techniques are Rule of thirds, Framing, Unusual Angles, and Leading Lines. Rule of thirds is when you have your main subject on One third of your shot to have a more interesting view of your subject. Framing is when you frame your main subject to draw more attention to it and it also blocks off other parts of image with some of the scene. An unusual angle speaks for itself, its basically a shot with a more interesting angle to draw more attention. Leading Lines are when there are lines leading to the main subject. Three Shot Sequences
In Kapa'a Middle school GT program we learned about sequencing . Sequencing is a visual way of showing an action with three shot types. Each shot type has interesting angles and perspectives. Also each shot type must relate to same thing as the the other two shots so the sequence makes sense. My video shows the action of drinking water, I did this with my partners Loren Weiner Arianna White

Spherical Panoramas
These are my 2 examples of Spherical Panoramas that I made in my GT class. I first learned about what Spherical meant so I used Spherical. hyperlink to help. I used Photoshop on the computer, adobe photoshop, digital cameras, and also cameraw to edit the photos. I took pictures with a 15-20% overlap each photo and then put the photos into a 360 degree circle.
Polar Panoramas
These are my Two finished Polar Panoramas that I created in G.T. First I had to learn about the process of making a Polar Panorama with using Steps to a Polar Panorama. Then I chose a good location to take my pictures with a 10-15% overlap each photo. I went into photoshop and merged all my photos together and resized the merged photos into a square image. The next thing I did was rotate the image 180 degrees and then applied the Polar coordinates.
After creating my Polar Panorama world I learned about the Quick Selection Tool . With a picture of myself I used the quick selection tool to cut out the back round. I refined the edges to and resized the cut out of me so it would fit into my world. I put the layer into my world and then added a shadow to make it look more realistic and interesting.
